Nestled in a fantastic location just a minute's stroll from the boat ride, New Gaea struck a fascinating balance between luxury and value. The staff’s friendliness made our stay memorable, even when language barriers arose; their enthusiasm in providing directions to shops and the local supermarket truly stood out. In terms of amenities, the air conditioning made for a comfortable night’s sleep, crucial for those warm evenings. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, which kept me connected to my family back in London. The flat-screen TV offered a nice way to unwind after a busy day exploring. While the hotel delivers on comfort, it’s prudent to weigh the cost against the amenities offered.
